Quality and Environment Policy

Environment and sustainable development

Wood origin: 

We only use material originating from sustainably managed forests and never use any endangered wood species.

Product impact:

It is part of our design work to evaluate the impact of our choices on raw material waste, carbon footprint and recyclability to optimize it as much as possible.

Raw material waste:

We do our best to select a combination of panel dimensions that optimizes the waste ratio.

Carbon footprint:

The vast majority of our products are flat packed enabling us to optimize space in the delivery trucks or containers in order to reduce the associated carbon footprint. We burn our own wood-based waste meaning that a significant part of our energy needs are met using non-fossil fuels.  We reduce power consumption in our factories as much as possible with new less consuming technologies and reduced working time of our most consuming processes.


Our products have been designed from the outset to embrace the circular economy model in which raw materials and packaging material we use are produced from recyclable materials.  In addition, all elements are separable and can be easily recycled so that product end of life is factored into the equation right from the design phase.

Product development:

Regular project reviews are organized to ensure simultaneous engineering. Marketing, Product Development and Production teams meet to make sure the right solutions are chosen for a qualitative outcome.

Supplier selection:

All our suppliers of raw materials and components are regularly assessed to make sure they are up to our standards and operate according to European and US laws.  

Quality control:

3 quality control steps are key to our process. First we control the panel dimensions and drillings on our production lines, then each piece is checked prior to being packed, and as a last step we control that all packs are complete prior to closing them.

Employee training:

Our people are key to our quality organization and regular training is organized to make sure all quality procedures are understood and well applied. Our culture is to look at components and parcels from our customer’s perspective.


We regularly improve our packaging to make sure it is strong enough and safe for home deliveries.

Customer feedbacks:

We take advantage of all the feedback we get from our customers, whether directly or from comments on websites, to fuel our continuous improvement process.
